Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor

What you’ll need:

Cut satin ribbon into 8-10 pieces. All pieces should differ in length SLIGHTLY. We cut ours in pieces ranging from 23-31 inches. Cut one piece of “scrap” ribbon 3” and save this for the very end of this tutorial.

Lay bows out with your ribbon. Enjoy the colors!

Lay first bow on table so that you can see the seam that holds the bow together. This is the back of the bow.

Apply a few drops of hot glue on both sides of the bow, and attach the satin ribbon as shown. Make sure that the shiny side of the ribbon is facing down.

Once glue is dry, try on your first layer of the necklace.

Repeat the previous steps with all bows and ribbons.

You should now have a pile that looks something like this.

Line up all of the layers and prepare your scrap ribbon.

Take your scrap ribbon, and wrap it around all pieces. Glue it together so that it forms a circle around the ribbons. You want there to be wiggle room so that you can pull the pieces in and out, letting you create an even or uneven layer of bows.

Finished, it should look like this.
